On Monday, 50 more men than women visited a museum. On Tuesday, the number of women who visited the museum was 80% of the number of women who visited on Monday. The number of men who visited the museum on both days remained the same. There were 950 visitors on Tuesday. What fraction of the total number of visitors on both days were women? Give your answer in the simplest form. (1 mark)

tuesday women → 80% x 100u = 80u

100u + 80u + 50 = 950 180u = 950 - 50 = 900 1u → 900 ÷ 180 = 5

total monday → 200 x 5 + 50 = 1050

monday + tuesday → 1050 + 950 = 2000

women on both days → 100 x 5 + 80 x 5 = 900

fraction of women on both days → 900 / 2000 = 9/20
